Units that mount vertically are optimized to fit in a NetShelter enclosures.AgilitySingle input power sourceSupply power from one branch whip to multiple pieces of equipment, conveniently powering rack-mount equipment. Saves time and money during installation by using one branch whip and standard connections.Wide range of input and output connectionsProduct family includes a variety of input and output connections to distribute 120V, 208V, or 230V power to multiple outlets. Having a variety of inputs and outputs allow users to adapt to varying power requirements. APC offers units that bring up to 14.4kW using a single branch whip.Rack-MountableIncludes horizontal, vertical, and toolless-mount varieties. Puts power where it is needed most - in the racks near the equipment.Marketing FeaturesLocal Current Monitoring DisplayThe aggregate current draw per power distribution unit is displayed on the unit via a digital display. The local digital display helps installers avoid overloaded circuits by providing a visible warning when the current draw is close to the maximum amperage draw of the strip.Alarm ThresholdsDefine alarm thresholds in order to avoid overloaded circuits. Network and visual alarms inform the user of possible problems.Remote Management CapabilitiesFull-featured network management interfaces that provide standards-based management via Web, SNMP, and Telnet. Allows users to access, configure, and manage units from remote locations to save valuable time. Associated with this feature is the ability to quickly and easily upgrade the firmware via network download to installed units for future product enhancements.Power DelaysAllows users to configure the sequence in which power is turned on or off for each outlet. This helps avoid in-rushes at start-up, which can cause overloaded circuits and dropped loads. Sequencing also allows users to predetermine which piece of equipment is turned on first so other equipment dependant on that unit will function properly.Remote Individual Outlet ControlRemotely manage outlets so users can turn outlets off that are not in use (prevent overloads) or recycle power to locked-up equipment (minimize costly downtime and avoid travel time to equipment).AvailabilityAlarm ThresholdsDefine alarm thresholds in order to avoid overloaded circuits. Network and visual alarms inform the user of possible problems. (Note: Only available on units with the current monitoring capabilities. Please see SKU specifications for availability)Flash UpgradeableQuickly and easily upgrade firmware via network download for future product enhancements. Eliminates the need to replace products already installed in the field when new features are released. (Note: Networked units only)Load indicator LEDIndicates overload and warning conditions based on the user-defined alarm thresholds. Alerts users of potential overloaded circuits.Power DelaysAllows users to configure the sequence in which power is turned on or off for each outlet. Product OverviewThe CyberPower PDU41002, an 8-outlet (front), 1U rackmount switched power distribution unit (PDU), provides 120V 20A output. It distributes power to 8 NEMA 5-20R receptacles from a single NEMA 5-20 or L5-20 (with adaptor) plug with unfiltered electrical pass-through. The switched outlet receptacles can be managed individually or collectively over the network, using the CyberPower Management Console, a web browser, and the RJ45 Ethernet port for network connection, or locally by using the LCD controls. Outlets can be turned on, turned off, or recycled on demand or at programmed times to address a number of needs including remote rebooting of locked equipment, load shedding, power sequencing, and locking out unauthorized loads. The PDU41002 comes with a three-year limited warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship in the product under normal use and conditions within three years of the purchase date.Power DistributionDelivers AC power to servers, equipment, and connected devices via a power distribution unit.Switch-Free DesignSafeguards against accidental power shutdown.Switchable OutletsProvides local and remote control for individual and multiple outlets. Local control: turn on/turn off outlets and disable unused outlets. Remote control: restart outlets and devices, turn on/turn off, schedule power on/off sequencing, and disable unused outlets.CyberPower Management ConsoleA hardware interface built into Monitored and Switched PDUs. Its functionality includes the ability to switch PDU outlets on and off, reboot connected equipment locally or remotely, schedule power cycling of attached equipment, and perform other tasks, such as load monitoring and event logging.Remote and Local MonitoringEnables offsite and onsite tracking of PDU vitals; provides outlet control for individual and networked clients.Automatic Event NotificationsProvide immediate updates about power events via email, SMS text, or SNMP traps.Upgradeable FirmwareDownloadable improvements (firmware updates) to programs that run the PDU.Digital DisplayProvides easy-to-read information about amperage, voltage, KW, IP address, and other PDU information.Network-Grade Plugs and OutletsHighly durable construction ensures the efficient distribution of power in demanding IT or industrial environments to servers, equipment, and connected devices.Long Input Power CordReaches distant power sources, allowing the PDU to be placed where it’s needed.Cord Retention TraySecures power cords, keeping them organized and accessible. Helps cords stay plugged in.Configurable Mounting BracketsAllow for installation of the PDU in the following configurations: 0U (vertical, under counter, and wall mount), 1U (horizontal, vertical, under counter, and wall mount), and 2U (horizontal and wall mount).Durable Metal HousingProtects internal components and resists damage from impact or abrasions within challenging industrial environments. Also extends the life of the product.Three-Year Limited WarrantyCovers defects in materials and workmanship in the product under normal use and conditions within three years of the purchase date.
