Electric ReheatPrevents overcooling during dehumidification.HumidifierHumidity is managed through a self-contained steam canister humidifier for maximum efficiency and ease of maintenance. The pure steam canister maintains consistent capacity output, and requires very little or no scheduled maintenance.InRow Chilled Water CoolingFeatures & BenefitsManageabilityBuilding management system integrationSend alarms and data points allowing you to manage critical building infrastructure from a single system.Real-Time Capacity MonitoringReal-time display of current and available cooling.Microprocessor controllerProvides proactive control and real-time monitoring via a four line, eighty character, alphanumeric display.Total Cost of OwnershipVariable speed fansVariable speed fans reduce energy consumption during off-peak cooling periods.Row-based architectureCaptures hot exhaust air directly from the IT equipment, thereby increasing the unit's sensible cooling capacity over traditional cooling architectures.AvailabilityActive response controlsMonitors and actively adjusts cooling capacity to ensure proper server inlet temperatures. Through the microprocessor controller, visibility into the operation and health of the unit is provided.Rack inlet controlRack inlet control guarantees inlet temperature to IT equipment.Top and bottom chilled water connectionsAllows chilled water to be connected from the top, if routing from overhead, or bottom, if on a raised floor.Predictable coolingPlacing the unit in the row of racks moves the source of cooling closer to the heat load. This eliminates air mixing and provides a predictable cooling architecture.Dual A-B power inputsDraws power from the UPS for power protection with dual feeds for redundancy.AgilityCastersProvides flexibility to move the unit to wherever cooling is required.Scaleable densitiesAllows for higher densities to be achieved by integrating containment with room, row and rack cooling system architectures.Modular designModular design provides scalable solutions to add cooling as demand increases.ServiceabilityEasy service accessAllows for all serviceable components to be replaced/maintained by easily accessible panels/doors.
Lockable DoorsAll NetShelter Enclosures include key lockable front doors to prevent unwanted access.Door ventilation exceeds 830 in2 (5355 cm2)Adequate ventilation is required for proper operation of today's servers. NetShelter Enclosures include fully perforated front and rear doors to provide ample ventilation for servers and networking equipment. The perforation pattern provides 844 square inches of open area on the front door, exceeding requirements set forth by major server manufacturers. Although this ventilation pattern provides adequate cooling for most configurations, air-moving accessories such as the APC Air Distribution Unit and Air Removal Unit are also available to support higher heat density applications.Promotes Proper AirflowHelps to maintain proper rack temperatures within the enclosure by promoting top to bottom airflow movement.
Cable AccessLarge cable access slots in the roof provides access for overhead cable egress. The bottom design allows for unobstructed cable access through a raised floor.Simple SelectionNo need to spend hours choosing from and compiling dozens of part numbers to create a single enclosure. APC has made it easy by handling the details and providing complete enclosures with single part numbers.VentilatedPerforated front and rear doors provide ample ventilation for rack-mount equipment.Quick release doorsFront door can be moved to the opposite side or interchanged with rear doors. Doors are easily removed with simple lift-off design.Half-height side panelsHalf-height quick release side panels reduce size and weight for easy handling and access to equipment. Side panels are lockable utilizing a single key with the doors.Rear Cable Management channelsIntegrated and adjustable rear channel provides zero U mounting locations for toolless accessories. Each channel has two mounting bays to support a combination of up to four accessories such as PDUs and vertical cable organizers.Adjustable mounting railsThe vertical mounting rails can be adjusted in 1/4 in (6.4 mm) increments covering virtually any mounting requirement for IT equipment. U positions are numbered front and back for rapid installation of equipment.Split rear doorsSplit rear doors improve access and serviceability to rear of rack mounted equipment. The split rear doors help to maximize floor space. Only 11 inches (279 mm) of clearance is required behind the enclosures to allow for door swing.Castors and adjustable leveling feetEnclosures are shipped standard with both leveling feet and castors. Leveling feet can be quickly adjusted through the use of a screwdriver or drill, eliminating the need to reach underneath with a wrench.Joining capabilityEnclosures include pre-installed joining hardware to join enclosures in a row and provide additional stability to the enclosure.Structural StabilityA proven frame design, heavy-gauge mounting rails, and heavy-duty casters provide for 3000 lb (1364 kg) static and 2250 lb (1023 kg) dynamic load ratings.Integrated electrical groundingThe roof, side panels and front and rear doors are grounded to the frame of the enclosure. Eight additional electrical grounding inserts are located on the frame for external grounding.
NetShelter SX Networking Enclosure expands Schneider Electric's superior IT enclosure line with improved support for high density networking applications. Integrated high density cable managers and improved cable access roof provide support for large cable bundles. When combined with the Side Airflow Duct Kit, the Networking Enclosure ensures complete isolation of cold intake and hot exhaust air for large switches and SAN directors.
